How we choose
No paid placements. Just the evidence.
- Shortlist. We read rankings from padel review sites, lab tests and YouTube testers, then kept the models they agree on. We drop products that are sold out.
- Current models first. 2026 models are current; some 2027 models are arriving now. Older models stay only when they're clearly good value, and they're labelled.
- A score for each level. Each product gets a score out of 100 for how well it suits beginners, amateurs and advanced players. Forgiving, easy-to-use kit scores high for beginners; stiff, race-focused kit scores high only for advanced players. Products that don't suit your level are hidden. Price doesn't change the score.
- Your budget. The finder tries every combination and picks the one with the best total score that fits your budget. The racket counts most, then shoes, then balls.
- Prices where you live. Pick Europe, America or Asia and we show prices we checked at the big shops there, cheapest first, plus quick links to the largest local marketplaces. Where we have no local price yet, we show an estimate (≈) converted from the European price, and products a region doesn't sell are left out. Prices change, so check at checkout. Some reviewers sell kit or use discount codes, so we never rely on one source alone.
